Mellanox Cruising Down the PCI Express Compliance Lane

Mellanox™ Technologies Ltd., the leader in InfiniBand technology, today announced that the InfiniHost III Ex Dual 10Gb/s InfiniBand Host Channel Adapter (HCA) is recognized by the PCI-SIG* Integrators List as successfully completing the testing requirements of the PCI Express* compliance workshop. The Integrators List (available at www.pcisig.com) includes both the MTLP25208 InfiniBand HCA card for PCI Express technology as well as the MT25208 InfiniBand HCA silicon device. The InfiniBand HCA card plugs into standard PCI Express x8 server slots and the MT25208 InfiniBand HCA silicon device is directly soldered on board designs with area limitations such as Landed on Motherboard (LOM) and Server Blades. Both solutions provide two, high bandwidth, low latency, 10Gb/s connections used to interconnect a grid of servers and storage devices for data center and technical computing applications.
