Vision Solutions Appoints Stephen Massey as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Vision Solutions, a leading worldwide Managed Availability solutions provider, today announced the appointment of Stephen Massey as executive vice president of Worldwide Sales. Massey has more than 30 years of experience in sales, management and business development. Fourteen of those years were in senior sales-management positions; five in senior-executive positions at competitive High Availability solution providers.

Massey began his career at Star Data Systems where he specialized in sales and sales training on IBM® hardware. He then moved on to Sirius Computer Solutions where, under his supervision, the hardware division grew from $4.5 million to $175 million and became IBM's largest midrange solution provider in North America. During his 8 1/2 years at Sirius, Massey progressed from vice president of sales to executive vice president and then chief operating officer. During this time, average sales per representative increased over 300% and margins increased 31%.

Prior to joining Vision Solutions, Massey served as vice president of worldwide sales for Lakeview Technology. In this position, he was responsible for sales in the three worldwide geographic areas, driving increases year on year. During his tenure at Lakeview, Massey also served as vice president of business development. In this role, Massey orchestrated the development of Lakeview's ISV alliances and the expansion of their IBM relationships.
