Remote Knowledge Announces First Unit Sales and Pilot Program With HESCOSUL, LTDA.

Market Wire, September, 2004

Remote Knowledge, Inc. (OTC BB: RKNW), a developer of remote communications and telematics solutions, today announced the launch of a pilot program with HESCOSUL, Ltda., the Brazilian subsidiary of Houston Energy Services Company (HESCO). As part of the pilot program, HESCOSUL purchased ten rk3000 units for deployment on certain key vessels in a variety of commercial marine entities operating in Brazilian waters.

The pilot program runs through December 31, 2004, and is designed to identify market potential as well as place the rk3000 units into a variety of associations that can become customers through the HESCOSUL relationship. The test program will evaluate growth needs, partnership opportunities and adaptation needs for serving the South American market. HESCOSUL will also utilize units to demonstrate the technology to additional potential customers outside of the pilot program. The units used in the pilot program will employ satellite airtime for near real-time monitoring, base mapping of Brazilian waters, GeoFencing, a customized Web portal for user interaction, and user, sales, marketing and technical support.

"We are excited to announce the first sale of rk3000 units," said Chief Executive Officer Randy Bayne. "This sale represents not only the entry of Remote Knowledge into revenue generating operations from our past existence as a development-stage business, but also an expansion of our geographic capability beyond the waters of the Unites States and the Caribbean. The rk3000 platform is a global product capable of monitoring and providing service worldwide due to our partnership with Iridium. We look forward to future sales announcements as we bring this product into the marketplace with the help of our partners in the key maritime and oil and gas industries."

According to HESCOSUL Executive Vice President Jan Jensen, the rk3000 has already gained the cooperation of the major players in the maritime commercial and recreational market. Additionally, the Brazilian Navy has enthusiastically offered their facilities for the tracking and monitoring of all rk3000 equipped vessels along the Brazilian coastline. "By adopting the relatively inexpensive rk3000, Brazil will improve security and environmental conditions along its 8,000 miles of coastline and the world's longest rivers," Jensen said.

The pilot program introduction of the rk3000 solution through Rio de Janeiro's state commercial fishing federation FEPERJ has the potential to create new standards in safety, production and environmental safeguarding to more than 30,000 commercial fishing vessels in the region. "This technology provides a quantum leap in Brazilian coastal traffic control for naval authorities," said Retired Vice-Admiral Sergio Doherty of the Brazilian Navy, an advisor to HESCOSUL.

In addition to the rk3000 pilot program, HESCOSUL will be focusing on the development of the product's marine pleasure craft aftermarket in Brazil through boat shows and local dealers.

"We are pleased to begin this pilot program which will utilize the spectrum of unique benefits offered through the rk3000 and Remote Knowledge's services," said Marty Vogt, vice president of business development of Remote Knowledge. "The enthusiastic support for the platform by several key organizations within the Brazilian maritime industry speaks to the many opportunities to enhance the safety and services available to military, commercial and recreational boating interests in Brazil. The pilot program is designed to directly demonstrate the benefits of this platform to key governmental authorities and Brazilian citizens and create opportunities to begin selling rk3000 units on a broader basis."
