Kolorfusion International, Inc. (OTC BB: KOLR) and DuPont Engineering Polymers have made the following press release to the various industry plastic media publications today.
DuPont, Kolorfusion Team Up in Dye Sublimation Printing on Plastics
WILMINGTON, Del., Oct. 5, 2004 -- DuPont Engineering Polymers and Kolorfusion International Inc. (OTC BB: KOLR) have formed a marketing alliance to support customers in gaining the benefits of dye sublimation printing on molded products and components.
Kolorfusion has developed patented technology for dye sublimation decoration of three-dimensional objects such as molded plastics parts. DuPont produces several kinds of engineering plastics resins suitable for the process, including Crastin® PBT and Rynite® PET thermoplastic polyesters, Delrin® acetal and Zytel® nylons.
"Here at DuPont we see excellent potential for dye sublimation-printing of engineering plastics parts for sporting goods, power tools, appliances, consumer electronics and other kinds of products where a permanent, wear-resistant multi-color image is desired," said Ella Rabil, senior marketing specialist for DuPont Engineering Polymers. "Because the technology causes dyes to penetrate the surface of the polymer, the imprinted images are highly resistant to wear. The dye sublimation technology will now give our customers a new way to differentiate themselves at the consumer level," she added.
Steve Nagel, president of Kolorfusion, said: "DuPont resources and expertise in helping its customers develop and manufacture new parts and products using engineering plastics can help fuel the growth of dye sublimation decorating. We're proud to join with DuPont in bringing the marketing and functional benefits of dye sublimation printing to more plastics end users and molders."
Kolorfusion reports that its technology is ultraviolet-resistant, cost-effective, and suitable for applying a full spectrum of colors, shades, and designs to a variety of surfaces including plastics, metals and glass. For more information, visit www.kolorfusion.com on the Web or call 303-690-2910.

About Kolorfusion
Kolorfusion is the owner of process patents for three-dimensional product decoration. The Company's technology is considered a major breakthrough for product finishing, as the process actually transfers any design with any colors into a product's coating or directly into the plastic or aluminum part itself, no matter the shape. The result is a fully decorated product as durable as the coating or part. Kolorfusion's technology is ultraviolet resistant, cost effective, and safe for the environment. Unlike decals, silk screening, or standard painting, Kolorfusion's patented processes offer a full spectrum of colors, shades, and designs. Kolorfusion generates revenues through processing contracts and long-term purchasing and license agreements with product manufacturers. Kolorfusion has recently introduced additional products including coatings, dyes and printers and has made strategic alliance with Roland DGA of Japan. Kolorfusion continues to expand its licensing of major OEM's such as Polaris Industries, Moen, PSE, DeeZee, Garrity Industries and provide processing for customers such as Daisy, Gerber, Tru-Glo, MasterLock and others.
