Hire.com Bolsters Advisory Board With Addition of New Customers

Hire.com (www.hire.com), the leader in Global Enterprise Recruiting, today announced the expansion of their seven-year-old advisory board with five new members. John Malanowski of Raytheon, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines' Jay Rombach, Alan Jarvis of Allianz and Judy Edge of FedEx bring decades of corporate human resource experience to the Advisory Board, and mark a renewed focus on customer involvement in product strategy and development. New member Fred Alvarez, a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati is one of California's top employment law litigators with years of successful practice in labor and compliance law. The new members join industry experts John Sumser and Kevin Wheeler who have served on the Advisory Board since its inception.

The newly configured Advisory Board is expected to define a revised charter and objectives when it convenes next week during Hire.com's 5th Annual HireWorks User Conference in Austin.

John Malanowski has held human resources leadership positions for more than 20 years, including multiple positions within Raytheon. Currently, Malanowski serves as vice president of talent acquisition and Corporate Human Resources. In this position, he leads Raytheon's strategic talent acquisition direction and drives the infrastructure to support the organization's Leadership Development Program, a nationally recognized talent development program.

Jay Rombach brings more than 17 years of human resources management to the Hire.com Advisory Board. For the past five years, Rombach has served as HR consultant at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Rombach guides the recruiting and staffing strategy for Royal Caribbean's worldwide workforce. Prior to Royal Caribbean, Rombach headed HR efforts at Office Depot and John Alden Financial Corporation.

Alan Jarvis relocated from Allianz Canada in Toronto in 2002 to Munich, accepting an international assignment as head of Group e-HR & HR Communications. In this role, his team selects, tests and implements global software solutions for Human Resources departments (including eRecruiting and eLearning), as well as designs and manages tools for knowledge management with the Allianz HR Global community.

Judy Edge has served in a leadership capacity with FedEx for the past 10 years holding management positions over functions such as Compensation, Incentive Design, Executive Compensation, Employee Relations, Human Resource Development, Recruitment, and Human Resource Training. Judy is currently Vice President of Human Resources for FedEx Services and is responsible for all the Human Resource functions at FedEx Services, a company of FedEx Corporation.

Fred Alvarez leads the employment law litigation practice at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in San Francisco, where he is a specialist in all aspects of labor, employment and equal opportunity law. Often designated on of California's top labor litigators, Alvarez is a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and a member of the American Law Institute, where he serves on the Board of Advisors on the Restatement of Employment Law. Alvarez also served in two successive Presidentially appointed and Senate-confirmed sub0Cabinet positions. From 1984-1987 he served as a Commissioner of the United States Equal Opportunity Commission. From 1987-1989 he served as Assistant Secretary of Labor.
