WHO:

15-year-old music/TV and film star Lil' Romeo is celebrating the release of his 3rd album "RomeoLand" (New No Limit/KOCH Records) in stores now. "My Cinderella," the first single and video featuring actor/rapper Nick Cannon, is currently #1 on BET's "106th & Park" video countdown show, the #1 music video show in the country, and in rotation on MTV and Nickelodeon.

Lil' Romeo's hit television show, "Romeo!" on the Nickelodeon network kicked off its second season this fall. The show is rated #1 on all of cable in its Sunday prime time slot among kids ages 9 - 14! The show also stars his dad, rap entrepreneur Master P.

WHAT:

Lil' Romeo will be signing autographs for the first 200 kids who buy his latest CD, "RomeoLand," at the Los Angeles Wherehouse Music Store Location. "RomeoLand" will be on sale for $13.99 through October 17, 2004. Master P will also be on hand for photo ops.

The appearance will also kick off the "R U Romeo's Cinderella?" promotion, a series of nationwide in-store events that will serve as a "casting call" to find Romeo's "Cinderella," a lucky fan who will be featured in an upcoming Romeo music video. Those attending the in-store must bring a 4 x 6 photo with their name, address & phone number written on the back to the in-store to apply for the role.

Lil' Romeo made his music debut at age 11 with the release of his first hit single, "My Baby" from his self-titled debut CD. With the release of the single, Romeo became the youngest solo artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart -- a title previously held by Michael Jackson. "My Baby" went to #1 on three different Billboard charts (Hot Rap Singles, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles Sales and Hot 100 Singles Sales) and held on to the #1 position on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Sales chart for 10 straight weeks. That same year Romeo took home the 2001 Billboard Music Award for "Rap Artist of the Year" and "Rap Single of the Year" for "My Baby." Romeo's follow-up release, "Game Time" (2002), spawned the hit singles "2Way," and "True Love," which featured R&B singer/actress and Beyonce's younger sister, Solange. In 2003, Romeo starred in the blockbuster hit, "Honey," his first major studio feature film, along side Jessica Alba. Up next is the family comedy "Uncle P" in theaters Spring 2005.
