Remote Knowledge to Highlight rk3000 Platform at IBEX and NMEA Expo

Market Wire, October, 2004

Remote Knowledge, Inc. (OTC BB: RKNW), a developer of remote communications and telematics solutions, today announced it will exhibit at the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) show October 20 - 23, 2004, at the Registry Resort and Club in Naples, FL, and the International BoatBuilders' Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) October 25 - 27, 2004, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Florida.

The NMEA is a standards organization for the marine electronics industry, bringing together multiple aspects of the industry to improve electronics integration. IBEX is owned and produced by Professional BoatBuilder magazine and the National Marine Manufacturers Association, and provides an International forum for exchanging information and sourcing new technologies that will affect how boats are being built worldwide to a buying audience of over 700 OEMs, suppliers and manufacturers. Remote Knowledge will exhibit in Booth 268 at IBEX.

At both shows Remote Knowledge will demonstrate its rk3000 remote monitoring and communications system. The rk3000 is an end-to-end marine telematics solution connecting boaters to their vessel and shore contacts through a combination of Sprint cellular and Iridium satellite communications services along with SiRF GPS technology for asset tracking and communications purposes. The rk3000, while offering continuous monitoring and reporting of vessel activity, also provides location-based services such as two-way text messaging and on-water vessel assistance options. The Company's turnkey solution provides complete vessel integration and access to the vessel's systems from anywhere in the world via the Remote Knowledge web portal. Remote Knowledge's advanced call-center (Knowledge Central), and data management services (Knowledge Bank) also provide 24-hour monitoring and control of critical onboard systems, as well as provide for parameter motion alerts, sending messages of help to customer selected contacts in the event of a failure or unauthorized movement while the vessel is unattended in the marina.

Remote Knowledge recently announced a significant partnership with Southco Marine for original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and retail sales outlets in the United States. The agreement is primarily focused on the recognized boating markets and manufacturing facilities located on the East Coast of the United States from Florida to New England. Southco Marine will introduce the product line through its dedicated professional sales staff to more than 200 active accounts. The two companies will also collaborate on their marketing efforts at the IBEX show to promote the rk3000 system.

"We are excited to begin significant marketing and awareness of the rk3000 platform in association with our key partners," said Rick Canada, Vice-President of the Marine Products Group for Remote Knowledge. "The platform will shortly be in use by a number of entities ranging from a yacht sailing around the world in support of stroke awareness to fishing and maritime security interests along the coast of Brazil. The platform is a reliable, intelligent solution for the safety and security needs of boaters both on the water and while they are away from their vessel. Coupled with unique services such as trip tracking and geo-fencing as well as two-way communications, the rk3000 represents a significant convergence of function and technology for the boating world."
