Market Wire, November, 2004
Immunix, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise class application security solutions for Linux, announced today that its Immunix SubDomain Suite has successfully completed the Novell YES CERTIFIED program. This certification validates Immunix's host intrusion prevention product as a tested and proven application security solution for the Novell SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server.
By combining an effective host-based intrusion prevention solution with Novell's LINUX platform strategy, Immunix provides organizations with a comprehensive solution that ensures business continuity and superior data protection for critical SUSE LINUX applications.
"As more and more companies migrate critical business applications and services to LINUX, Novell customers can depend on the compatibility of the Immunix SubDomain Suite with SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server to protect their Linux investments," said Cheryl Traverse, CEO of Immunix. "With Novell YES CERTIFICATION, Immunix provides the highest level of product certification and support our enterprise customers have come to expect."

"With partners like Immunix, we continue to build out a robust ecosystem around Novell's Linux offerings, given customers increasing choices for running open source solutions in their environments."
Immunix's Unique Containment Technology for Linux Applications
Immunix has created a flexible, automated way to contain vulnerable Linux programs, even providing containment for sub-processes and scripts, so that attackers can't exploit hidden software flaws to gain control of the system. Based on their SubDomain access control technology, Immunix proactively protects the operating system, services, modules and all Linux applications from outsider or insider threats, even protecting against software vulnerabilities that exist in the application but have yet to be discovered.
