LIVESTAR Entertainment Group, Inc. to Host Thousands at Its Co-Production of "Planet New Year," The Largest New Year's Eve Event in San Francisco, CA
Market Wire, December, 2004
LIVESTAR Entertainment Group, Inc. ("LIVESTAR" or the "Company") (OTC BB: LVSG) is proud to announce the biggest New Year's Eve event in San Francisco, CA -- "Planet New Year" -- as its second major festival-sized event. Held at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, Planet New Year will feature over 40 artists on 4 stages and is predicted to be attended by as many as 10,000 New Year's Eve celebrators. For the first time in five years, New Year's Eve falls on a Friday; this fact alone is thought to increase the attendance of New Year's Eve events globally.
Building off the success of Cyberfest 2004, Planet New Year will be Co-Produced by LIVESTAR and Coolworld Entertainment. 2005 marks the 13th year in a row that Planet New Year has been the event to be at in the Bay and surrounding areas. With no other major competitors, a solid attendance in the past, a Friday-night celebration and a solid line-up of talent, LIVESTAR is hoping for great successes from this year's event. Ticket prices range between $30.00 and $50.00. The thousands of ticket buyers that are expected to attend may provide the Company with significant revenues to close out its fiscal year.
Marketing for Planet New Year is well under way and preliminary ticket sales for the event have shown great promise. Information and ticket outlets for Planet New Year can be found at the Coolworld website (www.coolworld.com). Photos and other information from past events can be found on the LIVESTAR website (www.LIVESTAR.net).
Jay Sinclair, Vice President of LIVESTAR Events International, stated, "With the success of Cyberfest 2004, LIVESTAR is vaulting into the next event. The relationship between Coolworld Entertainment and LIVESTAR is shaping up to be all that we envisioned. We are continuing to build our relationship with Sason Parry, and as we do I am confident more successes will follow. I am excited about Planet New Year as the event looks like it may cement itself as the number one Bay Area year-end celebration. It is a pleasure working with such professional producers and such a great marketing team. I look forward to 2005 and the future successes with Mr. Parry and our event business."
