Market Wire, December, 2004

Ritz Camera Centers, Inc., the largest retail camera and photo chain in the United States, today announced a 10-store trial of the new YesDVD(TM) Generator minilab system developed by YesVideo(TM), Inc. (www.yesvideo.com/minilab). Ritz Camera customers can now enjoy in-store digital transfers of their videotape, digital photos, and digital video to a Hollywood-style DVD.

"Now Ritz-Wolf Camera customers can get videotape and digital camera transfers to DVD in store with same day service and with the knowledge that their videotaped memories never leave the store," said Richard Tranchida, executive Vice President for Ritz Camera Centers. "Customers have been asking for us to provide DVD solutions for their digital camera pictures. The YesDVD minilab provides a great solution for these customers who want to view and preserve their pictures on DVD."

"We're very pleased to work with Ritz Camera, the worldwide leader in camera retailing, to offer customers the quality and innovation that they've come to expect from Ritz for videotape and digital camera transfers to DVD," said Greg Ayres, chief operating officer for YesVideo.

The YesDVD Generator accepts a wide variety of consumer media, including: VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS, 8mm videotape, Hi-8, Digital 8, and MiniDV for video; and CD/DVD, CompactFlash cards, Memory Sticks, SmartMedia, MultiMediaCard, Secure Digital, and xD-Picture Card for digital photos.

In order to make home videos and digital pictures fun to watch and easy to search, key features of a YesDVD include: automatic intelligently created chapter scenes; onscreen chapter menu with thumbnail images representing each chapter; three special feature music videos with video or photo highlights set to music; and a unique custom DVD case coversheet with thumbnail images from each chapter of the video.
