Stomp Inc. Releases Click 'N Burn Pro, Easy-To-Use CD Creating Software And Labeling Kit
Market Wire, 20050229
Audio CD recording and other new uses for PC-based CD burners have become very popular, but until now there has been a limited choice of software for driving the creation process. Stomp, Inc (www.cdstomper.com), creator of the acclaimed CD Stomper Pro CD labeling system, today announced the release of Click 'N Burn Pro(TM) to deliver a friendlier and more feature-rich CD recording software package for consumers. Stomp, Inc.'s powerful Click 'N Burn Pro solution makes the process of burning and producing a CD easy, entertaining and fun.
As CD-R (Compact DiscRecordable) and CD-RW (Compact DiscReWritable) drives replace read-only CD-ROM drives in new PCs, SOHO and home users have discovered many new uses for creating personal CDs. Analysts expect more than 60% of PCs sold in the coming year to offer CD-RW drives as standard equipment. This figure adds to the ever-increasing number of CD-R and CD-RW internal and external drives sold as upgrades to existing PCs. Click 'N Burn Pro serves this growing market, which needs powerful recording features combined with an intuitive, easy-to-use interface, all at a price point attractive to a burgeoning market.
"Click 'N Burn Pro brings the over-technical world of CD recording to consumers in a package they can use without a computer science degree, " said Mike Hummell, President of Stomp, Inc. "Our CD Stomper labeling system has put us in close touch with the consumer and enthusiast CD recording market, so we are very aware of the many frustrations users encounter with existing software packages. Click 'N Burn Pro users will have access to features that have never before been offered -- and they'll be able to use it right out of the box."
Click 'N Burn Pro offers a "two-click-cut" starter interface for new users, which provides a powerful, "Anti-Wizard" interface that makes burning a new CD almost automatic. For more advanced users, a full application interface in a traditional Windows format lets users specify the details of a burn down to the deepest levels, if desired.
Click 'N Burn Pro is capable of live audio CD recording from a standard sound card directly to the CD recorder. It supports audio CD creation from MP3 and WAV files, as well as tracks from other CDs. Click 'N Burn Pro also offers a unique Warp Drive feature that allows recording in up to four CD-R/RW drives, whether the same project, or different projects, simultaneously.
Click 'N Burn Pro requires a PC with a minimum 166MHz CPU and 32MB of RAM running Windows 95/98/2000 or Windows NT 4.0. The software package includes CD Stomper, the top-rated CD label kit that comes with 10 CD labels, label applicator and label design and print software. Click 'N Burn Pro will be available in retail outlets around mid-August with a suggested retail price of $59.99.
