Syntrex BDE combines file transfer, encryption, digital signatures, compression, tracking and logging capabilities to ensure that the Internet is the best channel for vital business file transfer and data exchange. Syntrex BDE was chosen to replace Golden Retriever's previous data exchange solution, which was comprised of three separate products - FTP (file transfer protocol), security and compression. BDE not only replaced the three products with one, it was able to offer a more robust, secure, scalable and fault tolerant solution while delivering ease of integration.
