Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL) Corporation's Vice President of Application Development Tools, Bill Dwight and John Magee, Senior Director of Oracle9i Platform Marketing, will host concurrent roundtable discussions with other e-business leaders at the "InfoWorld Next-Generation Web Services Conference" on Thursday, January 17, 2:45 p.m.-3:45 p.m. (PT), at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco. Dwight's discussion, titled, "Databases and Web Services" will highlight the role databases play in the creation and implementation of Web services. Magee's discussion, titled, "ASPs and Web Services" will explore the relationship between ASPs and Web services.
Dwight and his group are responsible for delivering tools that simplify the software development life cycle for database applications and Web services. Magee oversees Oracle's marketing strategy for Oracle9i Application Server.
