Aladdin And PinkRoccade Partner To Offer Cost-Effective Evaluation Program For USB Token-Based PKI Solutions
Market Wire, 20050229
Aladdin Knowledge Systems (NASDAQ: ALDN) today announced the availability of a new evaluation process that provides organizations with a low-cost, stream-lined method of testing PKI authentication solutions. Aladdin's USB-based eToken(TM) authentication device is offered now in conjunction with PinkRoccade's digital certificate solutions to create simple testing environments and enterprise products designed to showcase the powerful benefits of the USB token-digital certificate combination.
PinkRoccade, a leading provider of digital signature solutions, and Software Security Ltd., an Irish-based distributor of Aladdin's eToken USB device, generated the new DigiTest evaluation program and DigiT(TM) (Total Trust Management) enterprise solution in order to illustrate better the functionality and ease of integration for token-based user authentication. The DigiTest evaluation program allows organizations to spend less than $1000 to internally test the authentication solution. Interested organizations purchase five eTokens and PinkRoccade digital certificates that remain active for 40 days. Using DigiTest, organizations can evaluate easily the following authentication processes:
- Interoperability - Encryption functionality - USB token interoperability - Digital signing functionality - Digital certificate security issues - User validation procedures and risks - Digital certificate deployment issues - Digital certificate and browser compatibility
At the conclusion of the 40-day evaluation through DigiTest, organizations then have the full DigiT(TM) (Total Trust Management) enterprise solution available to implement fully the eToken-PinkRoccade digital certificate combination. For added convenience, organizations can purchase additional eTokens and PinkRoccade certificates through local Aladdin resellers/distributors.
"We are delighted to participate in this unique PKI evaluation program that combines the security and ease-of-use of PinkRoccade's products with the portability and powerful security of Aladdin's eToken," said Stephen Leslie, managing director of Software Security Ltd.
"PinkRoccade prides itself on providing secure solutions for real businesses," said Barry O'Neill, Business Development Executive of PinkRoccade." We are particularly delighted to have Aladdin endorse our joint services offering with our Managed DigiT(TM) suite, as this marks the start of a new beginning for secure IT solutions that every business can afford and implement with minimum effort "
