Oracle Headlines JavaOne With Keynote, Platinum Sponsorship

In addition to being a Platinum Sponsor at Sun's JavaOne(SM) conference in San Francisco next week, Oracle's(NASDAQ: ORCL) Thomas Kurian, senior vice president of Oracle9i Application Server product development, will keynote on Tuesday, March 26, at 9:30am PST, directly following Sun CEO Scott McNealy. Kurian will address Java developers on how to be successful with J2EE and Web services development and deployment. At the show, Oracle experts will demonstrate and discuss the latest Java tools and technologies in the JavaOne Pavillion. Oracle will also participate in multiple technical sessions, panel discussions and "Birds-of-a-Feather" gatherings designed to help JavaOne attendees add depth and breadth to their J2EE knowledge. JavaOne attendees will also receive a free Oracle9i Application Server Developer Preview CD with the latest version of Oracle9i Application Server Release 2 with J2EE 1.3 support and Oracle9i JDeveloper. To date, more than 2 million developers have downloaded Oracle9i Application Server and nearly 1 million have received Oracle9i JDeveloper.
