eCashPad Now Expanding It's Service Opening Up New Markets. eGS To Act As The Financial Agent For Companies And Individuals Receiving eCashPad Payments.
Market Wire, 20050229
eGS, whose goal is to act as the first Internet agent for State licensed and regulated Internet home played games of chance and skill, today announced the company will expand its service to act as the financial agent for recipients who previously could not receive an eCashPad payment. With eGS acting as the financial agent for eCashPad payments, the process of enabling recipient companies or individuals to be paid by an eCashPad has been greatly simplified. This opens up millions of potential individual non company recipients to receive an eCashPad cash payment from friends or relatives with eGS acting as the financial agent for the payment. eCashPad cash payments will be executed by an eCashCard, which is a value added smart chip card.
If the eCashPad recipient is a Bank Eyes Only enabled web merchant then eGS will not be involved in the transaction. Bank Eyes Only is the service provided by eConnect (OTCBB: ECNC) that enables first ever credit card present technology payments by eCashPads to web merchants. This action prevents the credit card data from being stored at the web merchant's site. There are presently over 5,000 eCashPads, an inexpensive hardware solution for safer and more cost efficient Internet commerce, distributed in the United States marketplace with a major eCashPad deployment push scheduled for the third quarter.
The eCashPad payment is immediate, simple, requires no delaying registration, and lends itself to be used to buy products from national auctions. The buyer does not need to pre register and can simply and immediately send a payment to the auction seller with either a cash payment by an eCashCard or by swiped credit card payment. If the auction seller is a Bank Eyes Only merchant then eGS will not be involved in the transaction. If the auction seller is not a Bank Eyes Only merchant, then eGS will act as the financial agent for the eCashPad payment and will deduct a service fee for the transaction
eCashPad Payments can now be effected at almost any application running on Microsoft Windows. Developers are now able to upgrade third party financial software, like Quicken, etc. to accept eCashPad payments. eCashPad payments can now be made directly at Excel documents that are supplied by marketing, health, or viewer ship vendors. This means that vendors distributing data using Excel spreadsheets can accept payments from their customers using an eCashPad. Shopping carts are not necessary for payment to be made.
Avariety of Bank Eyes Only web sites, not just online stores, can now accept payments using an eCashPad - such as doctors' offices, lawyers' offices, and other professional services. This opens up a whole new market for eCashPad usage.
From their home, eCashPad users can load their eCashCard with an eCheck which debits their checking account and applies value to the eCashCard. Internet cash payments can be made to utilities, mortgage, parking ticket, insurance and other sites who are Bank Eyes Only and now do not need a shopping cart to accept payments. eGS will act as the financial agent for those recipients who are not Bank Eyes Only enabled.
Any eCashPad whether located at home, office, hotel, or mobile laptop or at any public locations can send credit or cash payments to either the Bank Eyes Only recipient or to eGS who will act as the financial agent for the recipient.
In the third quarter, consumers without bank accounts will be able to purchase prepaid eCashCards at public locations. They will then be able to use eCashPads found at public libraries, supermarkets and other locations to pay bills or use the eCashPad to send money to family members or friends in other countries.
All eCashPad payments will be driven by eConnect who has recently announced a 100 to 1 stock reduction effective as of July 23 with one strategic goal being the requirement of naked short sellers who have shorted the stock through Canada and offshore to cover their short positions.
