Market Wire, 20050229
iXmatch Inc., a leading provider of matching, searching, and analytics software, announced today that the F.W. Webb Company, the largest distributor of plumbing, heating, cooling, and piping products in the Northeast United States, selected its analytics software product, iXanalytics, to power its direct marketing campaigns.
F.W. Webb signed a multi-year license agreement for the software after positive results from test marketing campaigns showed the significant ROI potential of the software. "Our customers count on us for the products they need to operate their businesses, and it is our responsibility to serve them well," said Larry Mohr, F.W. Webb's Vice President, and Director of Information Technology. "iXmatch gives us a better understanding of what products our customers are looking for and how best to deliver them -- both prerequisites for further strengthening valuable relationships with our customers."
iXmatch's innovative approach to customer data analysis significantly improves F.W. Webb's overall business intelligence and marketing efforts by providing relevant product recommendations to its customers. "The objective of the F. W. Webb Company is to grow our distribution business by constantly and consistently improving customer service," continued Mohr. "iXmatch proved its ability to help us do exactly that. We're excited about ramping up our marketing efforts with iXanalytics."
iXmatch is the only software solution that seamlessly integrates a variety of data mining, collaborative filtering and information retrieval technologies to solve the critical problem of accurately matching industrial customers with the right products and services. "iXanalytics is a perfect solution for F.W. Webb," stated Andrew Simpson, iXmatch's Sales Director. "Determining which of its thousands of products is most likely to be relevant to each of its 50,000 customers will improve F.W. Webb's top-line and bottom-line results. It will further build upon F.W. Webb's already strong customer relationships."
