Sony also offers a floppy disk printer, the FVP-1 Mavica(tm) printer. With the FVP-1 consumers can instantly print high-quality photos directly from a standard floppy disk without having to connect to a computer. The FVP-1, which sells for about $500, is equipped with video-out for playback of images on a TV or video monitor.
Sony's Cyber-shot line features the DSC-F505, a 2.1 million mega-pixel digital camera that combines Carl ZeissÒ lens optics with the industry's only 5X optical zoom to deliver unprecedented image quality. The Cyber-shot DSC-F505 digital camera is part of Sony's line of Cyber-shot Memory Stick cameras that includes the Cyber-shot DSC-F55 and Cyber-shot Pro DSC-D770 models.
The Cyber-shot DSC-F505 digital camera offers the flexibility of digital imaging with the performance features and manual adjustments that give users precise control over the outcome of their pictures. The Cyber-shot DSC-F505 camera also has a high-speed USB interface, MPEG Movie mode, and a Crop and Save feature to edit pictures right inside the camera. The DSC-F505 is available now for about $1,000.
Sony also offers the DPP-MS300 printer that prints in JPEG format using Memory Stick digital media, PC card, Smart Media(tm) and CompactFlash(tm) memory cards using a PC adapter card.
Consumers can print images recorded on any of Sony's Memory Stick-based Cyber-shot digital cameras or Handycam(r) camcorders by simply inserting the Memory Stick media into the slot for high-quality photo prints. The DPP-MS300 is available now for approximately $500.
