Computerworld Seeks Input For Annual IT Skills Salary Survey
Market Wire, 20050229
Computerworld's 7th annual IT Skills Salary survey, which seeks input from IT hiring managers about the technology skills they plan to hire and train for in 2001 and what they are willing to pay for those skills, is available online at www.rresults.com/cw2000salary
Everyone who completes the survey by November 17 is eligible to win one of five $500 American Express gift certificates. Results will be published in the December 4 edition of Computerworld and on its Web site, www.computerworld.com
Survey results will give IT managers an idea of the competitive landscape and IT professionals advice about what skills are in demand. The survey covers 80 top technology skills, including networking, enterprise applications, and Web development . Respondents also will have an opportunity to indicate the per cent of salary premium over the average that they pay for professionals -- both permanent staff and consultants -- who are competent in a specific skill or product area.
