Robert Heinemann And Jon Porter Join W. Michael Cox On Skywire Technology Advisory Board

Skywire Technology, a software development and application integration firm, announced the appointment of two prominent industry executives to its advisory board, each of whom brings a unique perspective from the essential disciplines of sales, financial services, and information technology development.
Robert Heinemann, CTO of Halliburton Company, and Jon Porter, president of PorterPro, LLC and former director of sales and marketing training for Verizon join Skywire Technology's current advisory board member W. Michael Cox, senior vice president and chief economist at the Federal Reserve of Dallas and professor of Economics at Southern Methodist University. Mr. Cox is author of the book Myths of Rich and Poor.

About Robert Heinemann
As Halliburton's CTO, Heinemann directs activities related to Halliburton's extensive technology portfolio supporting its customers in the energy services, construction, engineering, maintenance, and equipment industries. Skywire Technology will leverage Heinemann's experience and skills in influencing technology trends and managing world-class technology teams.
As a 20-year Mobil Oil Corporation veteran, Heinemann has held various senior executive positions including vice president of Mobil Technology Company and general manager of the Mobil E & P Technical Center in Dallas. In these capacities, he managed more than 500 technologists and a budget of more than $150 million. Additionally, he brings significant board experience to Skywire Technology, having served on internal and external councils including the Business Advisory Council of E&P General Managers and Mobil's Upstream Council. Heinemann currently serves on the Advisory Board of Landmark Graphics Corporation; is a member of the Board of Directors of Petroleum Place, Inc.; and chairs Halliburton's external Technical Advisory Committee.
About Jon Porter
With more than 30 years of experience in sales and marketing, Porter has held numerous sales and marketing management positions including national account manger, field sales manager, marketing manager and director of marketing for GTE Telecom. Porter's sales experience includes voice, video, data and cellular sales in the United States, Europe, Mexico and the Caribbean. Porter is a faculty member at Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business Executive and Management Development Center, and a Trustee of the Marketing Science Institute.
Porter's focus is to help Skywire Technology hone and aggressively execute the company's results-driven sales and marketing strategy. In this capacity, he will assist in developing key talent and identifying market opportunities for Skywire Technology.
About W. Michael Cox
Cox, senior vice president and chief economist at the Federal Reserve of Dallas, brings a wealth of information and strong economic and financial guidance to Skywire Technology. In addition to his book Myths of Rich and Poor, Cox has authored articles for the Journal of Monetary Economics and the Review of Economics and Statistics, as well as the Federal Reserve Bank's annual report essays on American living standards and the New Economy.
Cox has also served as a past president for the Association of Private Enterprise Education; as a CATO Institute adjunct scholar; and as a National Center for Policy Analysis senior fellow.
Since 1985 Cox has taught Economics at Southern Methodist University. Cox has also held teaching positions at Virginia Tech, the University of Rochester and the University of Western Ontario.
