Organon Inc. To Offer Women In U.S. Voucher For One Free Month Of NuvaRing(R)

Women in the U.S. have the opportunity to obtain a voucher for one free NuvaRing(R) (etonogestrel/ethinyl estradiol vaginal ring) announced Organon Inc., manufacturers of the world's first monthly vaginal ring for birth control. Currently patients can register for free a newsletter and updates at www.nuvaring.com.

NuvaRing(R), which has already received approval by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), will become widely available in pharmacies this summer. At the time of availability, patients will be able to obtain vouchers for a free NuvaRing(R) by going to www.nuvaring.com. There is no limit to the number of women who can receive one free NuvaRing(R). Patients will need to present the voucher with a prescription from their doctor at the pharmacy to receive their free NuvaRing(R). In addition, education materials will be e-mailed or mailed directly to patients.
