Delta Air Lines Announces E*Trade As New Partner

Delta Air Lines and E*TRADE have launched a new partnership that awards bonus miles to SkyMilesâ members who open online trading accounts with E*TRADE.

SkyMiles members who deposit $1,000 when opening a new E*TRADE account will earn 5,000 bonus miles; members depositing $10,000 will earn 10,000 bonus miles; and members depositing $50,000 will earn 25,000 bonus miles.

Providing independent investors with world-class research, tools and analysis, E*TRADE offers investors the opportunity to invest in stocks, bonds, options, more than 5,000 mutual funds and a wide range of no-fee IRA options at the E*TRADE Web site at www.etrade.com.

"SkyMiles members now have the convenience of investing online with E*TRADE and the added bonus of earning miles for award travel," said Christine Pierce, Deltas director of relationship marketing. "Delta recognizes E*TRADE as an online leader and this partnership enhances the online benefits presented to our members."

E*TRADE services also include the E*TRADE Knowledge Center, which educates individual investors by providing investing strategies and information from top financial experts; E*Station, an online answer center; and a customer service line that is available by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Delta SkyMiles members earn mileage by flying Delta, the Delta Connection carriers, Delta Express, the Delta Shuttle and Delta's airline partners. The Delta SkyMiles program offers many other mileage-building opportunities, including the Delta SkyMiles Credit Card from American Express, MCI WorldCom services, participating hotels, car purchases, car rental companies, cruise lines, restaurants, mortgages with North American Mortgage Company and Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate.
