Southwest Airlines Names New Marketing Manager For Tampa Bay

Southwest Airlines named Alison Hoefler as the new area marketing manager for the Company's marketing efforts in Tampa Bay. Her responsibilities include special promotions, media relations, corporate sales, and community relations.
"I'm looking forward to the exciting challenge of marketing and promoting Southwest Airlines in the Tampa Bay community," Hoefler said. "I also want to help bring awareness of our new online corporate travel product, swabiz.com, to area business travelers."
Hoefler joined the Southwest family in 1996 as a customer service agent at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport. She became an operations agent in 1997 and later became an operations supervisor in 1999.
"Alison's enthusiasm, energy, and leadership will be a great asset to Tampa Bay," said Judy Haggard, Southwest's regional marketing director.
Southwest currently operates 46 daily nonstop departures from Tampa Bay to 19 cities from coast to coast, with additional direct or connecting service to 42 other cities.
