ibex Healthdata Systems, Inc., of Rosemont, IL, the premier provider of innovative Web browser-based emergency department information solutions to the healthcare industry, today announced that six additional hospitals are implementing the ibex PulseCheck(R) Emergency Department Information System to integrate and streamline medical and administrative information workflow in their Emergency Departments. An additional hospital recently signed to implement ibex PulseCheck's patient tracking system. Annually, more than 1.7 million patients across the country are triaged and their treatment automatically tracked and documented during their emergency department visits using ibex PulseCheck.
Hospitals implementing ibex PulseCheck are Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Illinois, (40,500 annual Emergency Department visits) and four hospitals of the Alegent Health System in Omaha, Nebraska (77,250 annual Emergency Department visits). The Alegent Health System hospitals include Immanuel Medical Center and Bergan Mercy Medical Center, both in Omaha, Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Midlands Hospital in Papillion, Nebraska. St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, (52,000 annual ED visits) recently signed to implement ibex PulseCheck's patient tracking system.
