Madrona Medical Group Selects HEALTH one(TM) for Electronic Medical Record

BETTERHEALTH Global (USA), Inc. today announced the signing of a five-year software license and support agreement for its electronic medical record system HEALTH one(TM) with Madrona Medical Group, Bellingham, Washington, U.S.A.
In this collaborative arrangement, BETTERHEALTH Global (USA) and Madrona Medical Group will implement BETTERHEALTH Global's Electronic Medical Record System, HEALTH one, to automate clinical information for their entire practice. Madrona Medical Group plans to have full implementation by July 2003 with all 45 physicians, 5 nurse practitioners, over 275 staff and the transcription department using the system to enter and retrieve patient clinical information. With HEALTH one, all dictated notes and reports are typed directly into the patient healthcare record for immediate access. Similarly, laboratory results from Quest Diagnostics are electronically interfaced and automatically stored in the individual patient's health record. Additional interfaces are in development including laboratory results from the local hospital, radiology reports and transcriptions from external sources. HEALTH one is a complete electronic medical record solution that is multilingual and highly customizable.
