Dodgers Select Wongdoody As Advertising Agency For 2000 Season

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced today they have selected advertising agency WongDoody as the club's general market agency of record for the 2000 season, according to Dodgers' Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Kris Rone.

WongDoody, which is the first advertising agency hired by the Dodgers since 1995, will oversee and create all television, radio, print and outdoor advertising for the club."We are very excited to have WongDoody as our partner," Rone said. "They are a dynamic and extremely smart group of people with great ideas. They do breakthrough, strategic advertising which has had impressive results on their clients' bottomline. Looking forward, our goal is to create a message which invigorates the Dodger brand and reminds our fans that there is no other experience like Dodger Stadium."

WongDoody's clients include Alaska Airlines, adidas America, MGM Home Entertainment, Fox Sports Net, Virgin E-Commerce and the NBA's Seattle Supersonics. Between its offices in Seattle and Los Angeles, WongDoody has 67 employees and billings of $70 million.
