London Bridge Group, a major global provider of intelligent business software and e-commerce solutions, announces Ford Motor Credit Company as a new customer of London Bridge Group's e-Services network, BridgeLink. BridgeLink connects to over 1,400 major service providers, agencies, attorneys, lenders and third parties in the consumer credit lending industry, processing over 800 million transactions in 2003.
Ford Credit, a leading provider of automotive financing, has integrated its recovery system, RMS (Recovery Management System) from the London Bridge Group, to London Bridge Group's BridgeLink's partner.net e-service to process its collection agency assignments. Partner.net is a powerful and flexible web service that automates the exchange of information. Agencies and attorneys within the consumer credit market place an average of 650,000 new assignments per month and generate close to six million transactions per month through the partner.net service.
London Bridge Group demonstrated its ability to deliver its fully integrated solution on schedule, allowing Ford Credit to immediately reduce assignment challenges of maintaining multiple interfaces. Ford Credit has also seen efficiencies through this automation by using a single drop off and pick up location for all agencies that accounts are placed with.
"The partner.net implementation was very smooth, and it appears to have met our expectations for a secure B2B communication channel," says Richard Kamerman, Manager of Attorney Network.
"BridgeLink technologies create a safe and secure environment for information exchange with Ford Credit's collection agencies and attorneys," says Dale Williams, president of the credit management division of London Bridge Group. "BridgeLink's bidirectional connectivity with Ford Credit's recovery system, RMS, offers Ford Credit a more streamlined and dependable process eliminating much of the time-consuming tasks required to manage its exchange of information. It is a solution unmatched in the industry."
