PCS Edventures! Announces Project With Rutgers University LEAP/GEAR UP Program

PCS Edventures! (OTC BB: PCSV) today announced the formation of an alliance with the Rutgers University LEAP/GEAR UP Pre-College Initiative. Rutgers will be installing the PCS Edventures! Academy of Engineering and the PCS Edventures! Academy of Robotics programs for students in grades 5-12. The State University of New Jersey, Rutgers-Camden, is the lead applicant of the LEAP/GEAR UP Project. It intends to create a unique, holistic and comprehensive course of study for a cadre of middle school and high school students. The overarching goal for this initiative is to raise the number of students in Camden who successfully pursue a college education.

The Rutgers/LEAP/GEAR UP Pre-College Initiative is designed to provide college awareness and readiness program and services to students enrolled at the LEAP Academy and University Charter Schools, beginning in the fifth grade. It includes a curriculum-wide initiative to assure that LEAP Students graduate from high school with the preparation, desire and ability to succeed in college.
