HydroFlo Water Treatment Invited to Participate in EPA's First Annual Prosperity Planet and People Award Competition

HydroFlo, Inc. (OTC BB: HYRF) announced its portfolio company HydroFlo Water Treatment Inc. (HWTI) will present their waste-water pre-treatment technologies at the First Annual Prosperity Planet and People (P3) Award Competition on May 16-17, 2005, hosted at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

The P3 Award Competition is the first competition for undergraduate and graduate teams in colleges, universities, and other post-secondary institutions in the U.S. for students to research and develop sustainable solutions for environmental challenges. There will also be exhibits from organizations and companies that currently market sustainable technologies for both national and international markets. The competition includes the following categories: agriculture; built environment; ecosystem; materials and chemicals; energy; resources; and water. Some of the organizations scheduled to participate are: The White House Council for Environmental Quality, NASA, The National Science Foundation, The American Society of Engineering Education, Hewlett-Packard, Dell, and many others. HWTI is an international provider of aeration equipment used for the treatment and pre-treatment of wastewater. The company also provides a full range of related services to companies and municipalities to treat their wastewater at the treatment plant by the use of the energy efficient aeration systems in treatment lagoons.
