Cyclone Commerce today announced that it has named Graham Clark as vice president of business development. Clark brings over 21 years of sales and business development experience, including 11 years at Microsoft cultivating relationships in the retail, consumer product manufacturing, and automotive industries. In his new role, Clark will lead the partner recruitment and alliance programs, working closely with key partners like Hewlett Packard and BEA Systems.
"Cyclone's focus on real-time intelligence at the edge of the enterprise is a unique and compelling value proposition that has legs not only with Global 2000 companies but with every major ISV and service provider seeking to grow their business," said Graham Clark. "Having worked in this space for the past decade with Microsoft, I was extremely impressed by the strategic relevance that Cyclone's 400 customers assigned to their edge management solutions. I look forward to taking strategic partnerships with industry leaders like Hewlett Packard and BEA Systems to the next level, as well as developing a thriving partner ecosystem for Cyclone."
At Microsoft, Clark was general manager of .NET business development where he led the team that launched BizTalk and an independent software vendor (ISV) program for third-party developers. Previously Clark was chairman and CEO at BAPORT Technologies, a mid-market ASP company. While at Microsoft in the early 1990s, Clark held the position of director of industry marketing for the Retail/CPG and Automotive industries. Graham holds a Masters degree in computer science from Loughborough University in England.
"Cyclone's executive team is excited to welcome an industry veteran with Graham's proven track record," said Phil Myers, president and CEO, Cyclone Commerce. "In his long tenure at Microsoft, Graham forged strategic partnerships in diverse industries with key players, such as Siebel Systems, Wal-Mart and Ford Motor Company. Graham's experience building large-scale partner networks will be essential, as we continue to forge relationships with industry leaders."
