Intacct Announces Three Channel Initiatives, Including the Trusted Advisor Reseller Program
Market Wire, April, 2005
Intacct Corporation, the leading provider of ERP On Demand, today announced three channel programs, including the Trusted Advisor Reseller Program, ISV-in-a-box and Accounting Outsourcer-in-a-box. Intacct expects two-thirds of its annual revenue to come through channel partners, which include traditional value-add resellers (VARs) and System Integrators (SIs), independent software vendors (ISVs), accounting firms and business process outsourcers (BPOs).
Intacct delivers financial, supply chain, professional services automation, multi-entity management and business analytics software as a service over the Internet for a monthly subscription fee. According to analyst firm IDC, sales of subscription-based software will grow at 17 percent through 2007. By delivering ERP software as a service, resellers can tap into the growing market for subscription-based applications while profiting from faster deployment time and shorter overall sales cycles.
"Midsize companies have vastly different requirements for managing their business processes," said Robert J. Jurkowski, CEO of Intacct. "We surround the market with Trusted Advisors to give customers the freedom to either buy Intacct's ERP On Demand solution from a certified VAR, or from an ISV that has embedded our applications suite in its industry-specific solution. Other companies might decide to contract out back-office tasks to an accounting firm or BPO that uses Intacct as a platform to deliver outsourced services over the Web."
Intacct will launch the three channel programs on April 15.
Trusted Advisor Reseller Program
Intacct's Trusted Advisor program is based on a revenue-sharing model where VARs, SIs and accounting firms resell or refer Intacct's ERP On Demand application suite to mid-market customers. Intacct will train and certify all resellers. Partners provide clients with pre-sales services, implementation support and solutions training while Intacct serves as the first line of support for all product-related issues.
ISV-in-a-box
ISV-in-a-box is a step-by-step program to help independent software vendors embed core ERP functionalities and offer customers a complete, pre-configured business application suite. From ISV integration to customer implementation, Intacct provides professional services, solutions training, custom development, marketing strategies and joint business planning to ensure software companies successfully break into new markets and build additional revenue streams.
Accounting Outsourcer-in-a-box
Accounting Outsourcer-in-a-box is an 11-step program to help accounting firms set up successful outsourcing practices with Intacct's ERP On Demand applications, professional services, quick-start training, marketing strategies and joint business planning. Derived from helping hundreds of accounting outsourcers succeed, Intacct's industry expertise is customized for each firm's business requirements.
