NetScaler Ranks No. 1 in Customer Satisfaction According to Newly Published Independent Research Study
Market Wire, May, 2005
NetScaler, Inc., the global leader in accelerated application delivery systems, today announced that it has achieved the highest ranking in a recently published research study from Frost & Sullivan entitled, "Perceptions of Service from L4-7 Networking Equipment Vendors: A Customer Satisfaction Study." The goal of the study, which was based on an extensive quantitative survey of 254 enterprise IT networking equipment professionals, was to measure overall satisfaction with regard to the top six market share leading vendors in the Layer 4-7 networking and application acceleration product category. Included in the study were Cisco Systems, F5 Networks, Foundry Networks, NetScaler, Nortel Networks and Radware.
Frost & Sullivan conducted the study to thoroughly examine the complex scope of overall customer satisfaction through an extensive survey that measured responses in different dimensions of vendor satisfaction. Enterprise IT professionals were asked to rate the leading vendors of Layer 4-7 networking equipment based on a five point Likert Scale, resulting in descriptive statistics for vendor-to-vendor comparisons. In terms of demographics, approximately 89 percent of the 254 survey respondents represented enterprises with 100 to 5,000 employees.
Highlights of the study findings (ratings ranged from 1-5 with 5 being best):
-- On overall customer satisfaction, 76 percent of respondents gave
NetScaler the highest possible rating, more than double that of the second
place vendor.
-- For overall performance of technical support/customer service, 92
percent of respondents rated NetScaler "excellent" or "good," nearly 20
percent higher than the second place vendor and 40 percent higher than the
number three vendor.
-- 65 percent of survey respondents said that they were "very satisfied"
(5 rating) with the level of expertise and knowledge of NetScaler's
customer support staff, compared to just 37 percent for the next highest
rated vendor.
"We are both honored and humbled to see the feedback reflected from our customers in this study," said B.V. Jagadeesh, president and CEO, NetScaler. "We spend a great deal of time at NetScaler trying to understand the underlying business challenges our customers are facing and making sure our products and services deliver on those requirements. Our goal from Day One has been to ensure that every customer receives the highest quality of service from pre-sales, to deployment and beyond. Going forward, we will enhance our efforts to ensure that NetScaler continues to earn the high marks our customers have given us in this study."
The full report will be available at www.frost.com to any corporate buyer of networking products and solutions as well as existing clients of Frost & Sullivan.
