Pinnacle Group Worldwide Showcases Hyperion Financial Management Success Story at Hyperion's Business Performance Management Seminar
Market Wire, May, 2005
HYPERION BUSINESS PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SEMINAR -- Pinnacle Group Worldwide, a leading international business and financial consulting service organization, will team up once again with Alcan/Pechiney Packaging. This time, to present their joint success story at the Business Performance Management seminar held by Hyperion (NASDAQ: HYSL), the global leader in Business Performance Management software. The seminar is being sponsored by Intel and Hewlett-Packard.
During their presentation, Pinnacle Group Worldwide and Pechiney Packaging will provide details on how Pechiney, a $6.1 billion division of Alcan, is taking HFM to new heights with a creative allocation solution developed by the Pinnacle team. Pechiney Packaging was an early adopter of Hyperion Financial Management and continues to work with Pinnacle Group to expand their reporting capabilities. The new reporting and analysis functionality implemented by Pinnacle Group provides their client access to detailed SAP level data, segment allocations and cost center reporting. Web-forms allow easy access for the thirteen operating plants.
Pinnacle Group Worldwide is a Preferred Hyperion reseller and services provider. The company has been working with Hyperion products for over a decade, and focuses on delivering financial consolidation and analytical reporting solutions to Fortune 1000 companies. "Alcan/Pechiney is a great HFM story. They realized that SAP could not provide necessary processing and reporting, so they went with HFM early on with version 2.0. They upgraded to version 3.4 to leverage expanded allocation functionality and already have a roadmap to go to 4.0 to take advantage of the new Inter-company Detail Module, enhanced process controls and improved audit trails and document links," said Mike Fuori, Sr. Partner of Pinnacle Group. "HFM 4.0 is the iPod of Business Performance Management, you just gotta have it," added Andy Jorgensen, Sr. Partner of Pinnacle Group. The Business Performance Management seminar is being held at The Marriott Downtown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
