Wabash National Corporation Receives ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Registration

Wabash National Corporation (NYSE: WNC) today announced that the company has received ISO 14001 registration for its Lafayette, Ind., manufacturing operations. Wabash National is the first semi-truck trailer manufacturer in North America to receive the Environmental Management System Registration.

"Achieving ISO 14001 registration reflects our commitment to upholding world-class environmental standards in our manufacturing operations," said Dick Giromini, Wabash National's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. ISO 14001 registration was awarded through third-party verification of Wabash National's conformance with leading processes and procedures to protect the environment and drive for continuous improvement in environmental performance.

ISO 14001 is a set of standards issued by the International Organization for Standardization in Geneva, Switzerland, requiring a company to develop and maintain a system designed to monitor, measure, and improve its environmental performance through a process of audits, procedures, and improvement actions.
