COLT Telecom Group plc Statement re Press Comment
COLT has noted press coverage of a recent interview with Wolfgang Essig, Managing Director of COLT Germany, in which reference was made to the 15% sales growth target which has been set for that business. This is an internal target and not a revenue forecast. Actual revenue growth in the first half in Germany has been below 5% and nothing discussed in the interview requires a revision of current market expectations for either COLT Germany or the COLT group as a whole.
