Aplix Deploys JBlend(TM) in the First Commercial Handset Using Intel's PXA 800F Processor

Aplix Corporation (TSE: 3727) announced today that its JBlend Java platform is deployed in O2's XM music phone (from Jutland-based FL Telecom), the first mobile phone based on Intel 2.5G cellular processor platform. With Aplix's optimized JBlend and Intel XScale® technology, the phone is positioned as a multimedia device supporting Java 3D games, video and music playback with up to 1,000 tracks on the memory card.
