Sage Software Business Partner Synergistic Software of BDO Seidman Drops Microsoft Business Solutions' Great Plains & Navision, Becomes "Sage Select" Business Partner
Market Wire, August, 2005
Sage Software (formerly Best Software) announced today that Synergistic Software (Synergistic), a wholly owned subsidiary of BDO Seidman, LLP, is the latest Sage Software business partner to drop Microsoft's Great Plains and Navision accounting products to become a "Sage Select" business partner. Sage Select business partners agree to sell only Sage Software products and services, recognizing the performance, reliability and value of Sage Software products and the outstanding business development opportunities the program provides.
Chuck Wunderlich, Synergistic vice president, said the reasons that motivated them to become a Sage Select business partner were many. "In today's competitive environment a solid 'win-win' vendor relationship is an important asset to have and protect, and in many cases is a distinguishing factor in winning deals. Our relationship with Sage Software has always been very strong, but joining the Sage Select Program truly demonstrates our commitment to the Sage Software family of products." Wunderlich added, "Over time it was easy to see that as an organization we were diluting our resources and overall effectiveness by trying to represent too many competing products. Sage Select allows Synergistic to focus on providing the breadth and depth of experience that customers expect from a full service VAR organization today."
Sage Software offers small to mid-sized businesses, and the solution providers that serve them, the broadest lineup of business management applications available. From market-leading back office solutions like Sage MAS 90 ERP to leading front office applications such as Sage SalesLogix CRM, Sage Software provides end-to-end solutions that streamline business processes and drive efficiencies. Sage Software also offers product suites designed to serve a range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, accounting practices, non profit organizations, construction and real estate.
Sage Select partners are rewarded with free education and training programs, free Sage Software products for in-house use, extended marketing programs, including 2% additional co-op funds and improved margins, among other benefits.
