Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation Launches E-governance Site With Cincom Technology
Market Wire, September, 2005
The Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) has launched Delhi Tourism Portal, a multilingual interactive e-governance site, using Cincom Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd.'s (Cincom India) Web Portal Solution. The site will serve as a major hub for all DTTDC e-commerce activities, with easily accessible information available in four different languages.
Intended to attract both foreign and domestic travelers, the site's implementation is a major step for the Delhi government toward IT governance and to promote Delhi as a tourist destination all over the world in preparation for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
"The DTTDC wants to position Delhi as the unmatched destination that has captured classic modernity with an enamoring past, and at the same time, promote Delhi tourism as a friend that one can rely on," said Ramesh Negi, managing director, DTTDC. "Cincom's proven experience and the ability to provide superior results in lesser time makes this goal attainable in the near future."
"By implementing Cincom's Web Portal Solution, DTTDC can serve domestic and international tourists much more effectively and also open a new revenue-generating channel for DTTDC," said Ashish Paul, president, Cincom India.
