Bayou City Exploration, Inc. Announces New Chief Operating Officer

Bayou City Exploration, Inc. (OTC BB: BYCX) announced today that Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Harry J. Peters, has resigned from his position on September 7, 2005. Mr. Peters will remain on the Board of Directors and retain his Senior Vice President title. Although Mr. Peters will be less involved with the day-to-day operations of the Company, he will be available for consultation with the management team. Bayou City's President, Morris Hewitt commented, "The Company would not be where it is today without Harry's foresight, judgment and dedication."

On September 7, 2005, Robert A. Kelley was appointed Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Kelley joined the Company on April 25, 2005 as Vice President of Drilling and Production. He has over 25 years experience in the upstream oil and gas industry and expertise in production and reservoir engineering. Mr. Kelley graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in mechanical engineering.
