Notice is hereby given that a class action lawsuit was filed on July 29, 2005 in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York against UBS-AG and its affiliated entities ("UBS"), on behalf of those who purchased Franklin mutual funds from UBS between May 1, 2000 and April 30, 2005, inclusive (the "Class Period"), seeking to pursue remedies under the Securities Act of 1933 (the "Securities Act") and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (the "Exchange Act").
