cMango Announces New Applications to Extend the BMC Remedy AR System(R)

cMango, The Services Management Company, announced today the official release of two new software applications, cMango Project Management (cPM) and cMango Service Request System (SRS). Both applications have been created leveraging the highly flexible and scalable BMC Remedy AR System® development platform.

cPM is designed to provide a comprehensive tool to effectively manage and track an IT project and reduce the potential people and financial resource risks associated with large IT projects. The application is based on the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), which is a set of best practices for project management. The cPM console integrates key phases of PMBOK (Project Initiation, Planning, Executing/Controlling and Closing) into an easy-to-use tabbed interface for an intuitive user interface while providing full management and control functionality within each phase.

cMango SRS is designed to integrate into BMC Remedy Help Desk and furthers an organization's ITIL compliancy by capturing and managing service requests and simplified change tasking functionality. SRS can accommodate simple requests like a request for equipment by providing basic approval mechanisms and task dependencies. SRS provides the means to control and manage activities that are often captured and tracked by the service desk.
