The new IQ8 release, version IQ8 8.05, brings distinctive collaboration capabilities for business and IT users, including an intuitive dashboard for project management, remote project monitoring and reporting, interaction with proprietary search and replace tables, plus a new phonetic matching algorithm.

IQ8 8.05 builds new capabilities onto the IQ8 platform which revolutionized the enterprise services approach to data quality. New in IQ8 is the Project Portal browser-based environment for administrators and other stakeholders to simultaneously manage all enterprise-wide projects and review reports from anywhere, at any time. The Project Portal is designed to support both technical and business users, improving productivity by increasing the effective management of data quality projects and decreasing downtime by providing users a precise view of operation status.

This release also builds on IQ8's flexibility to accommodate evolving data quality projects with features for remote administration of projects, run-time business rule overrides, batch and transactional status review and remote access to reports. Organizations that manage proprietary standardization business rules in relational tables can now leverage this data directly with IQ8 8.05. Relational business rule tables can be used through the data quality service to provide standardization across all batch and transactional projects. Often these tables are created to ensure standard terminology or to address non-vital or outdated terms, including exception lists for profanity, retired part numbers or unqualified names. Because of IQ8's dynamic capability to access these remote tables, administration of these resources can stay with the knowledge experts in a specific department, such as marketing or accounting, and still be leveraged in enterprise-wide operations. This enables greater tuning of results while promoting consistency across the enterprise.
