Sylvia Lautsch - Welcome Addition to Brown, Winfield & Canzoneri Real Estate Practice
Market Wire, October, 2005
Brown, Winfield & Canzoneri, Incorporated ("BWC") welcomes Sylvia Lautsch, Senior Counsel, to its real estate practice this month. Ms. Lautsch leaves Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, where she was Special Counsel since 2000 in several of the firm's real estate-related practice groups, in order to more precisely focus her practice on real estate.
"BWC provides me with the perfect platform to do pure real estate work, and from which to develop more clients," Ms. Lautsch said. "I was impressed with Dennis Roy and Steven Abram, and learning about their highly specialized, yet encompassing real estate department. This is a great environment and I'm looking forward to the work."

Prior to Sheppard Mullin, Ms. Lautsch was a Partner at Ervin Cohen & Jessup, an Associate at Sidley & Austin, and Stradling, Yocca, Carlson & Rauth; she began her legal career at Richards, Watson, Dreyfus & Gershon -- the same law firm founding BWC shareholders J. "Her early years of practicing municipal law also lends itself to an area for which we are known -- developing public/private partnerships."
"We are well on our way to establishing one of Southern California's strongest law firm real estate departments," Steve Abram, BWC Managing Officer, said. "Sylvia brings over 20 years of experience to BWC's real estate department. She also shares our commitment of providing our clients with the best service by highly skilled lawyers in a cost-effective manner."
Ms. Lautsch received her J.D., 1982, from Boalt Hall School of Law, as well as a Master of Arts in City Planning from College of Environmental Design, Berkeley; she earned her B.A., 1978, Stanford University.
