Emerging Public Company's Fire Suppression Concept Adopted by U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and Transport Canada!
Market Wire, December, 2005
Wall Street News Alert's "stocks to watch" this morning are: Doll Technology Group Inc. (OTC: DTGP), Calpine Corporation (NYSE: CPN), NASDAQ 100 Trust Shares (NASDAQ: QQQQ) and Intel Corp. (NASDAQ: INTC).
Doll Technology Group Inc. (OTC: DTGP) should be one of the targets of aggressive investors and day traders this morning! Yesterday after the stock markets closed, the company issued a press release announcing that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Transport Canada (TC) have proposed regulations to implement a new fire suppression concept consistent with research and system design work done by Doll Technology through its RedBrooks Laboratory division.
The announcement may get the attention of investors, as the company states that it's "valued to bring revenues of over $25 million by 2008!"
According to the press release, the FAA and TC have proposed regulations that require all airlines in their jurisdiction to implement changes that will reduce the chance of fuel tank explosions like the one that destroyed TWA flight 800 more than nine years ago.
The Federal Aviation Administration proposed a rule that will enable the implementation of new technologies commonly known as "fuel tank inerting" with a system such as Doll Technology's "Hypoxic Air" system. Doll's system reduces the oxygen in fuel tanks thereby eliminating the risk of a fuel tank explosion. FAA chief Marion Blakey said in a statement, "We're proposing to increase the level of aircraft safety by reducing the potentially explosive ingredient of flammable fuel vapors."
Continue to watch this company! If installed, systems like Doll Technology's new "Hypoxic Air" integrated system will add an additional layer of protection against death by fire and smoke for the thousands of passengers that travel by air each year. The FAA estimates it will cost $313 million to retrofit 3,200 large passenger jets for fuel tank inerting alone. John Brooks, Director of Research and Development for Doll Technology said, "Joining our low pressure water mist capability with Hypoxic air in fuel tank inerting systems and linked to cargo bay fire suppression systems will prove to be the future of fire suppression in the industry."
Investors should continue to monitor the progress of Doll Technology! Doll Technology's "Hypoxic Air" system was developed through a 1998 proof-of-concept study conducted by RedBrooks Laboratory to control fires on commercial airliner cabins by using Doll Technology's patented "WaterMist/Hypoxic Air" system. The ground and flight tests were successfully performed on commercial airliners to prove the viability of the system. The joining of these two technologies ("WaterMist" and "Hypoxic Air") has proved to be a viable alternative to Halon on transport category aircraft. The integrated fire suppression system easily passed all the requirements for FAA Halon Alternative agents during testing at RedBrooks Laboratory. Additionally, in a study sponsored by Transport Canada, Doll Technology's integrated suppression system was also found to be a cost effective viable alternative to Halon, as well as, being three times more effective than the full scale Halon System testing conducted by the FAA/TC.
Doll Technology has been in contact with several domestic and international air carriers and two major aircraft manufactures for application of the concept.
Prior to the latest press release, the stock closed yesterday at Twenty-One cents a share.
