OpenPages Receives Enterprise Portal Certification From SAP
Market Wire, December, 2005
OpenPages, the leading provider of enterprise governance, risk and compliance management (GRCM) solutions, today announced that it has achieved certification for integration into the SAP Enterprise Portal. As a result of this integration, OpenPages GRCM applications are available to users throughout the enterprise through iView software and through a single sign-on capability within the SAP Enterprise Portal.
"With integration between OpenPages and SAP, our joint customers will be able to access Sarbanes-Oxley compliance dashboards, reports and data from within the SAP Enterprise Portal," said Peter Emerson, vice president of business development at OpenPages. "With detailed views into the current state of internal controls, managers gain new levels of decision support in addition to being able to resolve compliance issues quicker."
SAP® Enterprise Portal is a key component of the SAP NetWeaver(TM) platform. SAP Enterprise Portal is the industry's most comprehensive portal solution, providing a complete portal infrastructure along with bundled knowledge management and collaboration capabilities. It provides people-centric integration of all types of enterprise information, including SAP and third-party applications, structured and unstructured data, and Web content. It is based on open standards such as Web services and supports both Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and Microsoft .NET technology.
OpenPages SOX Express is an enterprise compliance management solution that reduces the time and resource costs associated with ongoing compliance for Sections 302 and 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. SOX Express combines powerful document management, business process management and flexible reporting capabilities in an extremely easy-to-use environment that enables an organization to document financial controls and automate the ongoing test and review process. Completely web-based, SOX Express maximizes end-user participation with little training. Its dashboards can be used by project managers, documentation team members, internal auditors and external auditors to plan, document and test the internal controls framework of the company, and to attest to the financial statements.
