DataPilot Pix 'n Tunes Allows Easy Transfer of Ringtones and Pictures Between Cell Phone & PC

Market Wire, December, 2005

Susteen, Inc., a leader in data communications and mobile computing solutions, today began shipping DataPilot Pix 'n Tunes, a revolutionary new peripheral device that allows users to upload and download ringtones, wallpapers, pictures and movies directly to the cell phone for free, completely bypassing any carrier fees or restrictions.

The Pix 'n Tunes Kit includes a universal cable set to allow free data transfer between the user's PC and over 200 of the most popular cell phone models in the market, including Motorola, Samsung, LG, Sanyo, and Audiovox. Pix 'n Tunes also allows users to back up their cell phone pictures and ringtones on their PC in case of loss or damage to the phone or when switching to a new model.

"Being able to customize ringtones and pictures is an important part of individualization for most cell phone users," noted Rich Sootkoos, Executive Vice President of Susteen. "Given the size of pictures the new camera phones can take now, it has become too expensive and time consuming to send over the air so they stay trapped in the phone. Susteen's product allows users to share their photos anywhere."

In addition, Pix 'n Tunes includes a full version of the Pix 'n Tunes Ringtone Composer, a powerful MP3/MIDI editor that can clip, trim, and edit favorite songs from the PC and then transfer it to the cell phone using the Pix 'n Tunes data cable. Users also have access to the Pix 'n Tunes Image Editor to transfer pictures and movies between the handset and the PC for free, bypassing expensive MMS fees from the mobile operator.

Other features include:

-- six phone connectors, valued at $180 if purchased separately
-- ability to import unlimited, unique ringtones and wallpapers from
audio or graphic files stored on the PC
-- free transfer of pictures and movies from the camera-enabled phone to
    the PC
-- restoration of tunes and pics to a new phone in seconds by easy PC to
phone transfer of the mobile content

DataPilot Pix 'n Tunes is now shipping at major retailers, including Fry's Electronics, selected Best Buy stores and others through Tessco Technologies for $39.95. It includes six phone connectors and one PC connector. Minimum system requirements include Microsoft Windows 98 (Second Edition Only), 2000, ME, XP; Pentium 100 MHz or higher CPU; 32MB minimum RAM; 60MB of available disk space; 800 x 600 or higher resolution, 8-bit - 256 colors or higher; USB port; and a CD-ROM drive.
