Market Wire, January, 2006
AAA and Publicis & Hal Riney today announced the selection of Riney as agency of record for AAA of Northern California, Nevada and Utah. The AAA account will be serviced by a fully integrated offering from Riney in partnership with sister company, MediaVest.
"AAA is pleased to be working with Riney and MediaVest because it will give us a creative edge and the full spectrum of services we need," said Alexandra Morehouse, Chief Marketing Officer of the 4.2 million member club.
"We're shifting our focus from strict brand marketing to the overarching customer experience," said Morehouse. "Riney's strength in strategy, brand advertising, direct response TV, and interactive as well as integration at every customer touch point makes them a great partner for us."
Riney will be the lead agency managing marketing efforts and creating a comprehensive, fully-integrated program for the auto affiliate, including advertising, direct response TV and interactive.
"We're thrilled to have been awarded the business for this leading AAA club," said Jamie King, Senior Vice President, Director of Brand Integration. "This is a very strategic win for us as AAA fits squarely into the criteria we set out for new business opportunities. Not only does the relationship give us the opportunity to help create innovative work that will help expand a great brand, but the chance to work with a smart, forward thinking and passionate client."
