Legend Mobile Signs Mobile Game Distribution Agreement With Ozura
Market Wire, January, 2006
Legend Mobile, Inc. (OTC BB: LGMB) today announced that it has signed an agreement with Ozura Inc. to distribute its catalog of mobile games in the United States market.
Based in Singapore, Ozura is one of the world's leading developers of mobile games. The Ozura library includes over 100 different mobile games including action games, auto racing, puzzles, sports such as bowling and soccer, and casino games such as blackjack and slots.
Legend expects to launch a game portal in early 2006 to allow US mobile customers to download games directly on to their phones. Additionally, the company anticipates introducing Ozura to carriers based in the United States. Legend Mobile is also exploring the development of prepaid game cards to be sold at retail stores.
Sales of mobile games are currently estimated at $4 billion and expected to rise to $8 billion by 2008.
"We are very experienced in the mobile content space with our past transactions. The continued development of the market in the United States makes this an ideal time to partner with a leader like Ozura," said Peter Klamka, President of Legend Mobile Inc.
