Hybrid Technologies Inc. (OTC BB: HYBT) Positioned to Fit Into President George W. Bush Latest Announcement of "Advanced Energy Initiative" -- A 22% Increase in Clean-Energy Research and Spending
Market Wire, February, 2006
Hybrid Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: HYBT) www.hybridtechnologies.com, emerging leaders in the development and marketing of lithium-powered products worldwide, has set into motion an advanced production schedule to facilitate The United States Federal Government's new Advanced Energy Initiative as announced by President George W. Bush during his State of the Union Address January 31, 2006.
The Address, which historically sets forth the President's plan of action for the fiscal year, heavily discussed America's dependence on oil. President Bush stated: "We must also change how we power our automobiles. We will increase our research in better batteries for hybrid and electric cars, and in pollution-free cars that run on hydrogen."
Earlier this week Hybrid Technologies was featured nationally by Fox, NBC and ABC news to name a few as their new facility was opened by North Carolina Senator Clodfelter. The Senator's comments regarding technology and oil dependency were of the same tone as President Bush's comments thus creating clarity from all Government levels that the time is now for advanced alternate fuel & energy sources.
Hybrid Technologies is currently producing several models for Federal fleet vehicle placement and is anticipated to increase production and technology advancements utilizing enhanced Federal government spending and grants this quarter.
