U.S. Patent Office Grants GIPS Two Patents for Technology Designed Specifically for Packet Networks

The patents were issued to GIPS for the company's unique predictive coding technique and for its innovative speech detection method.

The other patent rewards an innovative technique based on statistical methods for detecting speech activity that enables high quality, low complexity solutions to only transmit data when the module has sensed that a user is speaking.
